I was inspired to make my Travel EP: Part 2 by memories of experiences I've had in places far from Portland, Maine. This EP is a sequel of sorts to my first Travel EP, which memorialized trips I took to Canada, Florida, California, New York, and the Grand Canyon. This EP talks about trips I took to places as diverse as Alaska, Vermont, New Hampshire, and right here in the great state of Maine. In the same way I wrote songs about places I hadn't been before, I chose to use instruments and song arrangements that were new to me. My hope is that these songs and their stories inspire other people to travel new places and see new things.
